hello

This is the first post, so it works more as a note to self than anything else.

I work in operations. It's the kind of job that, when it goes well, nobody notices: no one congratulates anyone because a project started when it was supposed to. But behind that there are decisions, judgment calls and a pile of things I learned the hard way and never wrote down anywhere.

That's the idea here: keeping a record. Things that worked, things that didn't, and the questions I still can't answer.

We'll see how it goes.
